Welcome to K.C. Waunch Petroleum Consultants Ltd.

Effective January 1, 2021 K.C. Waunch is under new leadership and has resumed wellsite geological supervision operations. We are rushing into 2021 with new projects in conventional gas reservoirs, helium exploration, SAGD and cold-production heavy oil in the lower Mannville group.

Additionally we have fully merged ownership with Silver Spring Energy Consulting Ltd. and will provide the geological wellsite supervision while SSEC Ltd. provides the reporting and compliance framework to improve wellsite communication and reporting. This is an exciting time for KCW Petroleum Consultants Ltd. and we look forward to working with our current and future clients to deliver truly industry-leading geological services.

Where we’ve drilled

K.C. Waunch Petroleum Consultants Ltd. was founded in 1985 to provide wellsite geological supervision to the petroleum industry. As of January 1, 2020 we are no longer providing wellsite geology services and will only be providing mudlogging and sample collection for a selected number of clients.

The changes in the Alberta oil and gas industry have made it difficult to compete for smaller companies in the wellsite geology space and we are sad to say that our resources do not allow us to keep up with current trends in the industry.
